Okinawa Prefecture x Wakuda Media Event

WAKUDA Singapore wanted to celebrate and showcase the exceptional produce of Okinawa, aligning its culinary offerings with the finest seasonal ingredients from the region. TRS was to coordinate a PR campaign aimed at elevating awareness of Okinawan produce and creating a unique dining experience that resonates with gourmands and food enthusiasts in Singapore.

 

Putting the Right Spin
TRS supported WAKUDA Singapore through compelling storytelling, media, and influencer engagements. Our core involved a media-tasting event, supplemented with strong PR materials, to spotlight Okinawa’s diverse and nutrient-rich ingredients, from mozuku seaweed and shikuwasa lime to Okinawa mangoes, through Chef Tetsuya Wakuda’s thoughtfully crafted menu.

The campaign garnered significant attention across media and social platforms, driving increased awareness and traffic to WAKUDA Singapore and successfully positioning the restaurant as a culinary destination for exceptional Japanese cuisine.
